This is some old 8 mm movie footage taken at my family home in Van Nuys, Ca about 1955. I'm the blond headed kid at the end who can't dance and is playing with the erector set. The family was celebrating the arrival of a fantastic new luxury, a 45 RPM record player. Seven of us in three generations lived in a 3 Br, 1 Bath house with 1100 square feet. Life was a little simpler, and perhaps happier, back then. Music be Kevin MacLeod. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topic: 1950's, family, Van Nuys, dancing, California, 1955, home movie,
